To help you select the mix of trees for your lot you can peruse the categories below. On each page you shall find pertinent details regarding that species, as well as seeing the difference between the various grades.
Grade Particulars
GRADE PARTICULARS: (except Douglas Fir):
- Premium Grade: Extra dense and/or typically uniform on no less than 3 sides, with very minor imperfections.
- No. 1 Grade: Medium density, uniform on 3 sides, may have minor imperfections, stem partially visible.
- Standard Grade: Light in density, with visible gaps and imperfections with the stem often visible.
- Natural Grade: Very open tree, lots of space between branches, has a completely natural look, stem is always visible.
GRADE PARTICULARS: Douglas Fir
- Single Wrap Grade: Light to medium density, with visible gaps and minor imperfections.
- Premium Grade: Light density, with visible space between branches and with minor imperfections.
- Standard Grade: Natural in appearance with imperfections, sometimes lightly sheared with lots of space between branches.
SIZE AND STANDARD CONSIDERATIONS:
- CANADIAN STANDARDS: Lenght of the tree is measured from the butt to the upper crown of the tree.
- USA STANDARDS: Length of the tree is measured from the butt to the tip of the leader.

PLEASE NOTE:
- Most trees we provide are produced either in our plantations or in other regions of Canada.
- A small portion originates in the USA, such as White Pine and some Spruces and Fraser Fir.
- This variance may result in marginal differences in actual tree height.

IDENTIFYING TAGS
Our trees are individually tagged for both standardization and to prevent price confusion. We print on 16 colours to assist you in product differentiation. Each tag also has a number code identifying source of origin.
