Canaan Fir |
The Canaan Fir is a little known tree growing in small pockets that is becomming more and more available. It is a hardy species, able to flourish in less than ideal fir conditions. It is considered a replacement of the Fraser Fir and will becomming more and more available to consumers in the coming years.
Canaan fir is so-named because the original trees were identified in an area of West Virginia often referred to as the Canaan Valley.
